Overview
Peadar Hickey, Tuesdays, 6pm—7:30pm
6 weekly sessions beginning Tuesday, April 16th, 2019
This class will deal with guitar chord choices, voicing and rhythms with an emphasis placed on accompanying Irish tunes and songs. The class will look into some standard tuning shapes and methods but will have an overall focus on Drop D tuning as it is more common in Irish music settings. Students interested in accompanying jigs and reels or songs will all be catered for in this class. This class is best for those with some prior experience playing guitar. Best for advanced beginners and intermediate levels.
