Overview

How do sessions work? What is the etiquette for new players? Where do people play in New York City? Learn all about Irish traditional music sessions—informal, often impromptu, jam sessions that welcome musicians of all levels to join in—with ethnomusicologist and IAC teacher Christina Dolphin in this hands-on master class for all instruments and levels.

Bring your instrument for a practice session at the end of the workshop.
