Overview
Irish Arts Center partners with Darrah Carr Dance and Pajarillo Pinta'o Dance Company to teach Irish and Colombian dance forms to students in Jackson Heights, Queens! Our annual intercultural, in-school community art program is funded by the New York City Council’s Cultural Immigrant Initiative award, and we thank Council Member Shekar Krishnan for his continued support.
Public sharing events took place on April 2 and 7, 2025, in which students shared what they learned in the program with their parents and community members.
