Location
This class will be conducted in person at Irish Arts Center, located at 726 11th Avenue in NYC, between 51st and 52nd Streets.
Overview
This masterclass will focus on approaching clawhammer banjo as a solo art form, with an emphasis on tone, dynamics, repertoire, and enhancing melodic playing.
This class will be aimed at intermediate to advanced players. Participants must already be comfortable with the ‘bum-ditty’ technique and have the ability to learn by ear.
