8 weekly sessions beginning September 22
This course is for students who have completed Traditional Irish Singing II, as well as new students who have previous experience singing sean-nós songs in the Irish language. We will mainly focus on building our repertoire of sean-nós songs in Irish, along with studying some more vocally challenging English language repertoire from the tradition. We will also explore aspects of traditional Irish singing such as phrasing and ornamentation.
