Location

Our summer 2020 term will be held online. 

This class will be conducted via Zoom, a widely used and free application that works well for online learning. Upon registration, you will receive a link and instructions for downloading the program. Laptop, desk computer, or tablet with video and audio ability is required.

Overview

Carrie Erving, Wednesdays, 6pm—7pm
6 weekly sessions beginning July 8

Participants will learn to sing traditional Irish songs in the aural tradition, the way in which they were originally passed from one singer to another. We will explore the historical, literary. and geographical background of songs originating from different regions of Ireland. Beginners welcome!
