Overview

Kieran McCarthy Fell, Mondays, 6pm—7pm
6 weekly sessions beginning July 6

The whistle has been played in Ireland for more than a thousand years. It is small, inexpensive, and easy to bring along to any gathering. In this introductory course, we will learn the different notes and how to produce a good sound. Once students have mastered the basics, we’ll work on some traditional songs, including marches, waltzes, polkas, and jigs. You will need to bring a key of D whistle to class.

This class requires an instrument. For information about online purchases and delivery, click here
