Location

This class will be conducted in-person at the new Irish Arts Center, located at 726 11th Avenue in NYC, between 51st and 52nd Streets. Please note that students must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to attend in-person classes. A well-fitting face mask, covering your nose and mouth, must be worn at all times inside the building. Masks are required unless actively playing an instrument which cannot be played while wearing a mask.  Read more about how we are keeping you safe here.

Overview

Betty Sheehan, Mondays, 8pm–9:30pm

8 weekly sessions beginning September 19

This class will be held in person in the IAC Studio Classroom.

Dancers should have already completed at least one term of the beginner’s course or have previous experience with Irish step dance. You will perfect the dances you already know while learning more complicated steps and rhythms.

Students in all dance classes should wear shorts or workout pants and a t-shirt. For footwear, sneakers, ballet shoes, or ghillies are best.
