Our spring exhibition features select works by Geraldine O’Neill and Sinéad Ní Mhaonaigh, two of Ireland’s most exciting contemporary painters. O’Neill, elected an associate of the Royal Hibernian Academy in 2013 and to Aosdána in 2015, has exhibited extensively in Ireland and internationally, with work shown at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), the National Gallery of Ireland, National Portrait Gallery London, the Florence Biennale, and in Frankfurt. Ní Mhaonaigh—elected president of the Royal Hibernian Academy in 2025 and to Aosdána in 2024—has exhibited at major international art fairs including VOLTA New York, Art Market Budapest, Art Rotterdam, and VOLTA Basel, and in public collections including IMMA, the Arts Council of Ireland, Centre Culturel Irlandais (Paris), Ernesto Ventós (Barcelona), and O’Brien Art Collection (Chicago). Both artists are represented in Ireland by Kevin Kavanagh Gallery.
