Overview

Come together for conversation circles, workshops, lectures, and film screenings at our annual celebration of the Irish language. This year’s special guest, author Darach Ó Scolaí, will share a personal history of Irish-language literature and will discuss his latest book, Bódléar, winner of the 2024 Oireachtas Prize and the 2025 An Post Irish Book Award. The day will culminate with a screening of the documentary Cill Stuifín, winner of the Best Irish Language Film Award at the Galway Film Fleadh 2026.

Féile na Gaeilge is a bilingual event for speakers of all levels, including absolute beginners and those simply curious about Irish cultural heritage.
