Location

This class will be conducted in-person at the new Irish Arts Center, located at 726 11th Avenue in NYC, between 51st and 52nd Streets. Please note that students must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to attend in-person classes. A well-fitting face mask, covering your nose and mouth, must be worn at all times inside the building. Overview

Siobhan Egan-Moore, Tuesdays, 7pm—8pm

8 weekly sessions beginning September 20

This class will be held in person in the IAC Studio Classroom.

Learn the basics of the Irish drum, with a focus on the reel and jig rhythms. You’ll listen to various styles of traditional music and learn bodhrán etiquette for sessions. Enthusiasm and a love for music are the only requirements for enrollment.
