8 weekly sessions beginning September 22
This class will be held online.
This class is an ongoing writer’s workshop that continues the learning of Playwriting I, with a focus on in-class feedback and sharing pages, identifying weekly writing goals, advanced exercises, and a general but thorough examination into writing practices. Students are encouraged to take the class with the goal of writing the first draft of a full-length play or making significant progress on it. In order to take full advantage of this workshop, students must come to class prepared to share pages each week.
Students must have taken Playwriting I as a prerequisite, or be preapproved by the teacher. To apply for preapproval, please submit a request and short writing sample to classes@irishartscenter.org.
