Irish Arts Center and 92Y partnered in April 2019 to present New Dance Ireland: Choreographers of Nowness, a multi-event showcase of work by world-class Irish and Irish American choreographers representing a wide perspective on modern Irish identity. The weekend kicked off with "The Dancer from the Dance," a performance featuring Aoife McAtamney, Liam Ó Scanláin, Seán Curran, Mufutau Yusuf, and Oona Doherty followed by a panel discussion with Mary Nunan, Jean Butler, John Scott (curator), Seán, Linda Murray of New York Public Library, Oona, and moderator Siobhan Burke of the New York Times.
