Irish Arts Center Poem of the Week: Doireann Ní Ghríofa

Doireann Ní Ghríofa sends a video postcard from atop Patrick's Hill in Cork City: "It's a city that has burned many, many times, and it burns again in the poem. But every time it burns, it's built up again, because it's a city with great heart." Reading of "At Half Eleven in the Mutton Lane Inn, I am Fire, Slaughter, Dead Starlings" from PoetryFest 2016.
