Púca Party

Friday, March 4 | 3 PM – 3:45 PM

at NYPL Columbus Branch Library, 742 10th Ave, New York, NY 10019

Irish Arts Center visits our neighbors at the NYPL Columbus Branch Library to celebrate Irish culture and literature inspired by the Irish trickster fairy.

A phantom fairy, this mythic creature is well documented in classic literature, including the works of Irish poet and playwright W. B. Yeats, Irish novelist and playwright Flann O’Brien, and English playwright William Shakespeare. We will explore their mischievous and quick-witted ways in an interactive story session, followed by a mask-making activity.
