Village Vibes & Chasin’ the Trane

In the 50s and 60s, a counterculture grew throughout the States, and the iconic Greenwich Village of New York City became the center of a revolution that was happening in jazz music with artists such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman, and many others. This Tobin’s Run celebrates their pioneering spirit, alongside songs from great vocal artists of the day, Abbey Lincoln and Sarah Vaughan. The evening will also feature film clips of musicians and Village clubs from the era.

Lineup is subject to change.
