Kieran McCarthy Fell, Mondays, 6pm—7pm
6 weekly sessions beginning June 28
This class is for you if you’ve taken Tin Whistle II, or if you have taken Tin Whistle I and play another instrument or have a musical background. (You should have mastered all the basic techniques and know how to play at least five traditional Irish tunes comfortably. You also should be able to pick up tunes by ear without difficulty.) You will begin to learn ornamentation and expand your repertoire, and explore how to participate in a session and create sets.
Students will need a key of D whistle. For information about instrument rentals and purchases, click here.
