Overview

Kieran McCarthy Fell, Tuesdays, 6pm—7pm

8 weekly sessions beginning April 16

The whistle has been played in Ireland for more than a thousand years. It is small, inexpensive, and easy to bring along to any gathering! In this introductory course, you will learn all the notes of the scale and how to produce a good sound. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll work on traditional songs including marches, waltzes, polkas, and jigs.

Students will need a key of D whistle. For information about instrument rentals and purchases, click here
