Shrines

Shrines is Carrie Erving, a Brooklyn-based singer, composer, and musician who draws comparisons to Sylvan Esso, Björk, and Sinead O'Connor. Her debut EP Release was launched in November and produced by Rosana Cabán (Psychic Twin). A sought-after voice in both the indie rock and NYC Irish music communities, she has performed as a featured singer at events and venues such as Bloomsday on Broadway (Symphony Space), the Appel Room at Lincoln Center, Bowery Ballroom, Late Night with David Letterman, and with Lúnasa at 92Y. Her singing has been featured on NPR’s Radiolab and BBC Radio. She has recorded and performed with a wide array of artists, including Yo-Yo Ma and Will Butler of Arcade Fire.

NOIA is the solo project of singer/producer Gisela Fulla. Gisela was born and raised in Barcelona by a family of activists. She moved to New York and began working as a sound designer/mixer and music composer for film. She also started producing music with traces of traditional Spanish melodies and sound design under the name of NOIA, which means “girl” in catalan. She sings in Spanish, English and Catalan. She has released two records Hàbits and Crisàlida via Cascine Records.
