8 weekly sessions beginning April 13

This class will be held in person at Irish Arts Center.

Come learn the popular dances done at céilís every weekend in the metropolitan area! Set dances are lively social dances done in a square. We will work on basic footwork, transitions between figures, and moving to the phrasing of the music.

No previous experience is necessary. Whether you have never danced before, or just want to improve your style and learn new steps and styles, all are welcome.

Students should wear comfortable shoes with leather soles that would be suitable for ballroom dancing.
