Altan frontwoman and the 2017 Traditional Musician of the Year (Gradam Ceoil TG4) Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh explores the history of the sean-nós tradition and shares songs from her native Donegal Gaeltacht, Gaoth Dobhair. All are welcome—familiarity of the Irish language is not required to learn highlights from Mairéad's repertoire.
