Overview

Meet us in Hell's Kitchen’s DeWitt Clinton Park to welcome back all the neighborhood birds flying home after wintering down south! Learn about each delightful species from a guest educator from Audubon New York's For the Birds! elementary education program, then follow us back to Irish Arts Center to create your own flying bird mobile and enjoy a medley of Irish animated shorts starring some of your favorite wild animals.

As always at Saturday Morning Cartoons, we’ll serve up a feast of pancakes for the kids and mimosas for adults, and encourage pajamas for all.

The 2019 Irish Animation Awards ceremony was held in Dingle, Ireland on Saturday, March 23, and the big winner was Paper Panther Productions, which scooped up three awards, including Best Animation and Best Design & Art Direction for the stunning The Bird and The Whale—which will be screened at this event. Paper Panther Productions also won the Best Newcomer Award, a new category introduced this year. Check out the trailer here.
