Overview

The Irish Arts Center family is devastated by the passing of our dear friend and longtime colleague Georgiana Pickett. Georgiana led Baryshnikov Arts Center, our Hell’s Kitchen neighbor, through a period of hugely impactful IAC-BAC partnerships during her transformative tenure, including the New York premieres of Colin Dunne’s Out of Time (2011), Brokentalkers’ Have I No Mouth (2014), Eimear McBride/Corn Exchange’s A Girl is a Half Formed Thing (2016), and Colin Dunne’s Concert (2019), plus numerous residencies.

It is hard to imagine the new Irish Arts Center as it is today without the friendship, partnership and mentorship of Georgiana Pickett. She loved Irish Arts Center and its people and we love her back.
