Person Place Thing

Randy Cohen’s first professional work was writing humor pieces, essays, and stories for newspapers and magazines (The New Yorker, Harper's, The Atlantic, Young Love Comics). His first television work was writing for Late Night With David Letterman, for which he won three Emmy awards. His fourth Emmy was for his work on Michael Moore’s TV Nation. He received a fifth Emmy as a result of a clerical error, and he kept it. For twelve years he wrote "The Ethicist," a weekly column for the New York Times Magazine. In 2010, his first play, The Punishing Blow, ran at New York’s Clurman Theater. His most recent book, Be Good: How to Navigate the Ethics of Everything, was published by Chronicle. He is currently the creator and host of Person Place Thing, a public radio program.

Carl Krebs has directed many Davis Brody Bond's award-winning projects including complex government, cultural, and academic facilities. As partner-in-charge for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center since 2004, he coordinated the efforts of the many public agencies, community groups, historic preservation parties, families, and survivors who were involved with the implementation of the memorial and museum at the site of the Twin Towers. His other work for cultural institutions includes a master plan design of the Portico Gallery for Decorative Arts and Sculpture, the current expansion for the Frick Collection, and several projects for the Juilliard School. He has a wide ranges of experience with college and university work, including projects at Columbia, Princeton, Cornell, Washington universities, Sarah Lawrence, and the Universities of Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Caitlin Warbelow is currently performing on Broadway as the violinist in the Tony Award-winning Come from Away. Previous credits include Heartbeat of Home and Sting’s The Last Ship. Caitlin holds honors from the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts, the National Suzuki Conference, the New England Fiddle Championship, and the Fleadh Cheoil. Her 2012 compilation CD, Manhattan Island Sessions, was nominated for an Independent Music Award. Caitlin is the founder of the Mary O’s Thursday night trad session, and has taught fiddle at Irish Arts Center since 2009.
