Overview
In this bilingual “documentary musical” from award-winning director Alan Gilsenan (The Days of Trees, An Buachaill Gealgháireach/The Laughing Boy), Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon explores his life and language in a series of musical collaborations with an array of artists including Paul Simon, Liam Neeson, PJ Harvey, Bono, Ruth Negga, Paul Brady, Run DMC, Van Morrison, and Iarla O’Lionáird, among others.
A talkback with Paul Muldoon and Alan Gilsenan, moderated by Cáit O'Riordan, will follow the screening.
Presented as part of the four-night 10th anniversary celebration of Muldoon's Picnic, which includes three nights of Picnics featuring house band Rogue Oliphant and a selection of some of our most notable guest artists.
