Christina Courtin is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, composer, and arranger. She has released three solo recordings of original music: one self-titled on Nonesuch (2009), another, Varsity, on Hundred Pockets Records (2013), and her latest, Situation Station, on In A Circle Records (2019). She co-leads the dance-funk synth band Pilot Violet with bassist Michael LaValle, and released their debut record Nite Farm in 2017. As a founding member and violinist of The Knights, she has been a contributor to six albums on Sony Classical records and shared a 2011 Juno award and 2016 Grammy nomination.  

Christina has also been a collaborator and side(wo)man to many artists, most recently Bonny Prince Billy, Planetarium, Doyle Bramhall II, Le Ann Womack, Nico Muhly, Baaba Maal, and the Buffalo Philharmonic. She is a featured soloist for the films Chappaquiddick and Free State Of Jones, and occasionally writes music for This American Life. As an educator, Christina has led a songwriting composition seminar at Dartmouth College, and was appointed music director for the National Young Arts program at the Kennedy Center in 2019.

Steve Earle is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of his generation. A protégé of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, he became a master storyteller in his own right, with his songs being recorded by Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris, The Pretenders, and countless others. Guitar Town, his 1986 debut record, shot to number one on the country charts. Multiple releases followed, including the Grammy Award-winning albums The Revolution Starts...Now (2004), Washington Square Serenade (2007), and Townes (2009). A true Renaissance man, Earle has become a novelist, a film, TV, and stage actor, playwright, record producer, and radio host. In 2019, he appeared in the off-Broadway play Samara, for which he also wrote the “exquisitely subliminal” (New York Times) score. 2018 marked the 30th anniversary of his legendary album Copperhead Road. GUY is Steve’s 19th studio album.
