Overview
Irish Arts Center received a Cultural Immigrant Initiative from Council Member Daniel Dromm that allows us to run a 12-week Step Dance Residency with 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders at PS69Q in Jackson Heights from February-June 2019. Our lead teaching artist is Tony Award-winner Trent Kowalik. The residency will include weekly dance lessons, a performance from Darrah Carr Dance Company, and a culminating public performance by the students for their parents and community members.
