8 weekly sessions beginning February 2

This introduction to piping class is for total beginners. Students learn using a “practice chanter," a smaller form of the “chanter," used to play the melody on bagpipes. Students will learn to blow a consistent sound, play and identify pitches, understand basic rhythm concepts and learn to play a tune.

This class will be held in person in the Studio Classroom.

Please note that there will be no class on Monday, February 16, in observance of Presidents’ Day. A make-up class will be offered on Monday, March 30.
