Inni-K Family Concert: An Imbolc Celebration

Named as one of ten fierce women defining Irish Culture by RTÉ.ie, Dublin based singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter Inni-K has received consistent praise for her fresh style of indie-folk since the release of her acclaimed album The King has Two Horse’s Ears. Her second album will be released in March 2019. Her mesmerizing vocals and captivating stage presence create a musical experience rich with tenderness.

Having shared stages with musicians as varied as Malian kora master Toumani Diabate, drummer Jeff Ballard, Glen Hansard, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Lisa Hannigan, and more, Inni-K is becoming a well established presence in Irish music.

Gregory Corbino began his professional theater career working with the world-renowned Bread and Puppet Theater and Peter Schumann as a resident company member, touring the world with political puppet and Mask Theater. He was a full-time resident company member from 2007-2011, and activated his skills in voice, puppetry, movement, pageantry, parading, circus arts, and cabaret.

In 2012, Gregory moved to New York City to work with Jennifer Miller’s Circus Amok as a designer and performer. Since, he has worked as a performer and vocalist with many companies in and out of New York including John Heganbotham Dance, Redwing Blackbird Theater, Flying Donkey Theater, Cathy Weiss Productions, Cygnus Ensemble, The Dolly Wagglers, and Reverend Billy and The Stop Shopping Choir. Gregory often facilitates community music, and has been working at the Mayo Street Arts in Portland, ME. He has lead international workshops with Reverend Billy and The Stop Shopping Choir and serves as their associate music director. 

Brian Walsh is a Dublin-based drummer and percussionist, having learned from renowned teachers Conor Guilfoyle and Seán Carpio. Brian has performed in many music venues, theaters, and festivals throughout Ireland and across Europe, and his playing has been broadcast on television and radio in Ireland and the UK.

Brian has been collaborating with multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Eithne Ní Chatháin (Inni-K) since 2011, including arranging and performing drums and percussion for her album The King Has Two Horses Ears (2015). Brian has also performed with recording artists Nina Hynes, Valerie Francis, Rhob Cunningham, and Shane Holly. Brian worked with Margie Lewis to compose “Peripherique,” which they performed together at Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris, as part of Fiona Hallinans on-going Heterodyne project. In recent years, Brian has collaborated with Emily Aoibheann and with Dick Walsh Theatre in various theatre productions at Dublin Fringe Festival. Brian is also a music teacher and an Alexander Technique teacher.
