Overview
Join Radical Evolution, their collaborators from El Teatro Campesino, and the cast and crew as they celebrate the launch of their limited series podcast, Little Known Legends, with food, drink, and music!
In 1846, two hundred soldiers defected from the American army to fight for Mexico in one of the most unjust conflicts of the nineteenth century—the Mexican-American War. These Irish immigrants came to be known as Los San Patricios (the St. Patrick's Battalion): revered in Mexico and Ireland as folk heroes, but considered traitors to the US military. Utilizing era-appropriate music from Ireland and Mexico and featuring an international creative team from the United States, Ireland, Mexico, and Ecuador, this limited series podcast asks pressing questions around immigration, citizenship, and what happens when people follow their conscience to actively disrupt political systems.
