Overview
Grásta: Grace in Uncertainty
“Living through the intensity of the spring and early summer of the COVID year—we felt, as the summer began, that the worst must probably be over….
I had the hazy feeling that, along with marching, staying healthy, supporting those who were protecting us, and defining citizenship within new realities, there was a performer’s sense of service (and outlet) that could only find form outdoors.
But now the realization is this: Outdoor performance is still the live performer’s only work and service. The street is the only place to offer to meet an audience. And this will be the case well into 2021. So...watching for spring, and hoping to do more, do better—and busk. To do my work as a citizen who is a live storyteller by trade.”
Premiering March 15 as part of Culture Ireland's SEODA initiative.
