8 weekly sessions beginning Thursday, January 30, 2020

A boot-camp introduction to the basics of hardshoe Irish step dancing. Some prior Irish or percussive dance experience (tap, flamenco, etc.) is recommended. Dancers will learn the fundamentals of Irish percussive dance, starting with posture and alignment, conditioning, and basic sound patterns and progressing to treble reels and jigs. 

Students in all dance classes should wear shorts or workout pants and a t-shirt. For footwear, sneakers, ballet shoes, or ghillies are best.
