Overview

Peadar Hickey, Mondays, 7pm—8:30pm

6 weekly 1.5-hour sessions beginning June 28

This class will deal with guitar chord choices, voicing, and rhythms, with an emphasis placed on accompanying Irish tunes and songs. We will look into some standard tuning, shapes and methods, but will have an overall focus on Drop D tuning as it is more common in Irish music settings. This class is best for those with some prior experience playing guitar at advanced beginner and intermediate levels.
