Location

This class will be conducted via Zoom. Upon registration, you will receive a link to and instructions for downloading the free program. A laptop, desktop computer, or tablet with video and audio capabilities is required.

Overview

Pat Mangan, Mondays, 7pm—8pm

8 weekly sessions beginning January 26

Students will focus on building their repertoire of common session tunes and begin to explore elements of musicality and theory, including how to participate in a session and create sets. Ideal for those who have taken Fiddle III or have more than one year’s experience with the instrument.

Teaching will be by ear, but sheet music will be provided at the end of the term.

Please note that there will be no classes on Monday, February 16, in observance of Presidents’ Day and on March 16 due to the teacher’s schedule. Make-up classes will be offered on Monday, March 23 and Monday, March 30.
