Eóin Francis McCormack is blazing a trail in Dublin with his bold and vibrant abstract artwork. With innovative techniques and an avant-garde approach, McCormack’s pieces have been exhibited widely throughout Europe. He explores painting as a work ethic—mixing his own paint, fabricating his own tools, and stressing the aspects of routine and physical labor required of an artist. His large scale canvases are created with limited color palettes and found objects, leaving distinct marks on each painting. The final pieces offer a unique viewing experience and mark the appearance of an arresting new voice in Irish fine art. For more information on Eóin's artwork, visit his website.
Long-listed for the Saatchi New Sensations Award
SPECIAL EDITION PIECE
Born In Time, A1, screen print, 2018, $600
Eóin created a special edition print with Limerick's Parallel Editions print makers titled "Born In Time" in honor of this exhibition. The name references Eóin's expectant child as well as a flux in his life and career. This exclusive print is limited to an edition of 40.

“I have constructed a practice that explores painting as a work ethic… I am interested in the time spent by the viewer, in front of the canvas; I wonder what they think, and if they consider their time spent as worthwhile.”—Eóin Francis McCormack
