Overview

Bring the whole family and engage in a free day of Irish arts and culture for all! Enjoy authentic music and dance performances while sampling some of the 40+ adult and children's classes on offer throughout the season. Visitors can learn the basics of Irish language or a new dance step, get their face painted, create art with children's crafts, or simply relax with a cup of tea and experience a taste of Ireland's rich culture.

12-1:25pm  IAC Student Showcase & Ceili Band Performance
1:30-2pm  Best of Irish Film Institute's Family Festival Shorts 
2:15-3pm  The Lost Brothers (Folk Duo from Ireland) 
3:05-4pm  Pop-Up Gaeltacht — Irish Language Shorts with English Subtitles Curated by Siobhan Kavanagh — Celebrating the Year of the Irish Language

12-2pm  Enjoy Tea, Coffee, and Soda Bread 
12:30 & 2:30pm  Cooking Demonstration: How to Make Soda Bread 
2pm  Exhibit Tours: "John Minihan: Beckett and His World," a Photographic Exhibition Featuring John Minihan’s Iconic Portraits of Samuel Beckett and the artists He Inspired.

12-4pm  Irish Arts and Crafts  
1-3pm  Irish Instrument Petting Zoo (try out the fiddle, tin whistle, or bodhrán drum)

1-1:45pm  Performance and Dance Lesson by Niall O’Leary School of Dance
2-2:30pm  Jump Rope Skipping Games and Rhymes of Ireland
2:30-3pm  Ceili Band Performance
3-4pm  Ceili Dance Lesson, Dance, and Music (social dance for all ages)
