Patrick Connolly, a native of San Francisco, has been in New York City for more than 10 years so is now a native New Yorker. Or so he has been told.  He is vice president of programming for AMC / Sundance Channel Global and executive produces all film festival coverage for Sundance TV Global. He has also worked as a documentary programming consultant at Sundance Film Festival and as a programmer at Outfest, BAFTA New York and the International Documentary Association; moderated numerous panels for BAFTA NY; served as a board member of BAFTA New York and is co-chair of BAFTA NY’s digital/social media; and published pieces in the “Modern Love” and “Metropolitan Diary” columns of the New York Times. 

Connolly is a member of Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) and the International Emmys. He has a degree in English literature from UCLA.

Patrick Hunt is an archaeologist, historian and biographer who has taught humanities, archaeology, mythology and the arts at Stanford University since 1993. He was director of the Stanford Alpine Archaeology Project 1994-2012, subsequently directing the Hannibal Expedition 2013-16 in the Alps; in 2007-2008 his Hannibal Expedition was sponsored by the National Geographic Society’s Expedition Council, and he often speaks at National Geographic sponsored events. He is the author of 18 previous titles, including Ten Discoveries That Rewrote History and When Empires Clash: Twelve Great Battles in Antiquity.

A fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in London, Hunt is a frequent featured scholar on documentaries, including National Geographic Explorer TV, NOVA, PBS and The History Channel, and articles about his Hannibal research have appeared in National Geographic, Archaeology magazine, and Earth magazine, among others. He lives in the Bay Area of California.

Educated at Oxford University and Queens University, Belfast, Gareth Russell is a historian, playwright, novelist, and author of the blog The Confessions of a Ci-Devant, which profiles his historical research and artistic interests. He is also the author of Young and Damned and Fair: The Life of Catherine Howard, Fifth Wife of King Henry VIII; The Emperors: How Europe’s Most Powerful Rulers were Destroyed by World War One; and An Illustrated Introduction to the Tudors.  He lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
