Our annual day-long immersion for Irish language enthusiasts of all levels features music, film, and literary workshops honoring the contributions of Irish laborers to the building of New York City.

Learn protest songs, hear about great Irish-born labor leaders like Mother Jones and John Sweeney, and practice your conversation skills with a friendly and diverse Gaeilge community.

Activities for more advanced or fluent Irish speakers include a special translation workshop led by Darach Ó Séaghdha of the Motherfoclóir podcast, presented in partnership with Literature Ireland’s 25th anniversary season.

Admission to Féile na Gaeilge includes a ticket to the evening’s live taping of the
Motherfoclóir podcast.

Support for this program is also provided by The Irish Institute, and the Knights of St. Patrick.
