A city-supported dance residency for grade school students in Jackson Heights, Queens

Thank you to former Council Member Daniel Dromm and Council Member Shekar Krishnan for granting Irish Arts Center a Cultural Immigrant Initiative Award to run a dance residency with first, second, third and fourth graders at PS69Q in Jackson Heights, Queens this spring!

We are partnering with the FolkCOLOMBIA Escuela de Danza y Música to offer weekly instruction in both Irish and Colombian dance forms to over 200 students a week. We will be holding two public sharing events at the school on Monday, April 11 and Thursday, April 14 at 9am.
