Come experience the joy of An Irish Christmas, the critically-acclaimed holiday concert that has become a uniquely New York Christmas show for the entire family. Mick Moloney leads a cast of America’s top Irish and world musicians through a warm and celebratory journey of music, dance and storytelling accompanied by the strains of the banjo, fiddle, accordion and piano.

Every night is a different experience as surprise guests drop in to each performance! Past visitors have included Gabriel Byrne, Dan Barry, Colum McCann, Ellen McCourt, Isaiah Sheffer, Sebastian Junger and Speaker Christine C. Quinn.

Live Taping of
An Irish Christmas
Sunday, December 9

We are delighted to join forces with WFUV 90.7-FM to present the debut radio broadcast of our annual holiday celebration, in a special event chaired by James J. Houlihan in support of our annual fund and capital campaign.

This special performance took place Sunday, December 9th at 3 pm on the Fordham University Bronx Campus, Fordham Preparatory SchoolE. Fordham RoadBronxNY.

WFUV recorded the concert live and will re-air it on WFUV 90.7 FM on Sunday, December 16 at 4 pm, and on Saturday, December 22 during A Thousand Welcomes.

 

 

Along with our friends at the New York Irish Center and other members of the Irish Community of the Greater New York Area, we're honored to participate this holiday season in the Irish Day of Action Christmas Shoe Box Appeal. We're serving as a drop off point for gifts for children in the Rockaways and will accept donations through December 14th at 4pm.
