Overview

Feast on free pancakes for kids and mimosas for parents and caregivers as we snuggle up on the Donaghy Theatre stage with some of the most popular cartoons Ireland has to offer. To honor the centennial of women’s suffrage in Ireland, this edition of Saturday Morning Cartoons will feature selections with strong female characters and crafts inspired by suffragettes. You will also have the chance to take a dance lesson with Laura Neese, who will teach you about one of Ireland's most famous suffragettes.

Before the screening, check out the new Bold Girls reading guide from Children’s Books Ireland in honor of the centenary, and Rebel Girls’ bestseller Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls.

Fun for boys, girls, and the whole family!

“You'll want to reserve tickets…If your kids aren't quite ready to sit still through a full meal and film, you can always roll out in your pajamas for Saturday Morning Cartoons at Irish Arts Center instead. Here, parents and their little ones can curl up on stage to watch TV shows and short films (and enjoy free pancakes and snacks!).”
