New York, NY 10019

From island life in the far west of Ireland, to dingy student accommodation in the center of London, from the War of Independence to the IRA letter-bombing campaign in England in the 1970s, and from the impoverished life of rural farmers to the world of successful young writers and passionate artists, Maeve Kelly's Orange Horses tells the stories of a diverse and fascinating range of characters.

Join us to discuss this ferocious and witty collection of stories detailing the multilayered lives of marginalized Irish women. Led by Rachael Gilkey, director of programming, IAC Book Club is open to all—even if you have not read the book!

Light refreshments will be served.
